Are the lace panels see-through?
Yes, and that is the design. The lace is sheer and it is set into the lower legs only, from below the knee down to the hem, so what shows through is your shin and calf. Everything from the waist to the knee is solid matte black with no sheer panels at all.
What size should I get?
Check the size chart on the product page and measure yourself against it rather than going by your usual size — the fit is slim through the hip and thigh before it flares. If you are between sizes, size up: the waist is smooth and stretchy, so a little room sits better than a little tight.
I’m short. Will they be too long?
Probably a little, and that is worth knowing before you order. They are cut long so the bell flare reaches the floor, which is what makes the shape work. Most people wear them with platforms or a heel, and the extra height takes up the length. Flat shoes and a shorter frame will mean the hem sits on the ground.
Do they have pockets?
No. The waist is smooth and high with no belt, no belt loops and no pockets, front or back, so there is nothing to break the line.
What are the little crosses?
One small white embroidered cross sits at the top point of the lace panel on each front leg — two in total. The back of the pants is plain: no crosses, no pockets, just the lace panels running down to the hem.
How do I wash them?
